This community serves as a vibrant gathering place for Muslims to connect, share, and grow in their faith together. It is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where members can build meaningful relationships and support each other. The community offers various programs and activities that cater to the needs of its diverse membership, promoting cultural understanding and religious education. It’s a place where everyone, from local residents to newcomers, can find a sense of belonging and stay connected with their heritage and values.

The Richmond Islamic Community thrives thanks to the dedication and service of a diverse group of individuals who are committed to the welfare and growth of their community. This group includes a mix of volunteers and appointed members who work tirelessly to ensure that the community's needs are met and its values upheld.
Board of Directors: This team sets the spiritual and administrative direction of the community, overseeing religious services and educational programs.
Volunteer : None of this would be possible without the backbone of the community—the volunteers. These individuals come from all walks of life and contribute in various capacities, from preparing venues and cooking meals to offering educational tutoring and providing transportation for those in need.

The Board of Directors (BOD) at RICO is responsible for administering day-to-day affairs, taking care of and maintaining the facilities, managing expenses, and performing such acts that may be necessary for achieving the goals, vision and overall objectives of RICO.
